  • Efficiently washing all dirty dishes according to health and safety regulations.
  • Running food as it is completed to guests tables.
  • Clearing tables of all dishes and glassware.
  • Helping keep the taproom/ kitchen tidy and a comfortable, welcoming environment for our guests and team members.
  • Touching tables to make sure our guests are satisfied and have everything they need.

  • Being a reliable member of the Bike Dog team. Cleanliness and attention to detail is a must.
  • Working cohesively with front of house staff.
  • Communicate with team members on wait times and low products.
  • Setting up the food line for efficient and effective food service daily.
  • Preparing and presenting food in a tasteful manner.
  • Keeping a clean working environment throughout the shift.
  • Thoroughly clean kitchen at the end of the shift, setting up the next shift for success.
  • Label/ date all opened food.

Cellar Person/Assistant Brewer

Location: West Sacramento, California

Position: Cellar Person/Assistant Brewer
Shift: Full Time (40hrs/week, occasional OT)
Compensation: $17-22

About The Job:

  • Daily cellar operations consisting of the following with massive attention to safety and beer quality
  • Cellar management with a focus on low D.O. pick up
  • Beer packaging (kegging, canning, bottling)
  • Beer clarification/carbonation
  • Tank dumps and dry hopping
  • CIP of fermentation tanks, brite tanks, various other equipment
  • Yeast management (cropping, harvesting, storage, cell counts, generation tracking, yeast recipe management, etc)
  • Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and then a little more cleaning…
  • Cleaning floors, tanks inside and out, yeast brinks, cellar equipment, packaging equipment, lab equipment, etc.
  • Cleaning kegs
  • Prepare brew days by weighing and milling grain, weighing out hops, etc.
  • All while maintaining superior communication with the brewdeck regarding water temperatures, volumes, and any/all potential safety or quality issues with your eyes, ears, nose, and feet.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Have working experience professionally in a brewery setting. This includes a knowledgeable foundation of flow control, pressure, pumps, CIP, packaging, etc.
  • Can frequently stand, sit, squat, crouch, crawl and climb
  • Can lift 55 lbs. to shoulder height
  • Can lift / move full kegs (+/- 150 lbs.)
  • Can operate a forklift
  • Can work in loud, slippery, hot, humid, and cold environments for extended periods of time
  • Can work safely around hazardous chemicals, high voltage, hot liquids, compressed gasses, pressurized vessels, etc.
  • Must be an absolute juggernaut of multitasking and paying attention to detail (non-negotiable)

This position will work closely with ownership and the brew team to maintain and grow our market presence across Northern California. The ideal candidate would have extensive professional sales experience in the craft beer or beverage industry with a successful track record of working with off and on-premise chains.

Responsibilities:

Formulating and enacting sales growth strategies across all markets

  • Direct sales to accounts in Bike Dog self-distributed territory

Physical Requirements

  • Able to work in high noise levels.

General Manager

Bike Dog is searching for an experienced leader to help us make our taprooms have the same community and experience focused vibe Bike Dog brings to everything it does. We want people to leave the taproom thinking that Bike Dog is more than just good beer, it’s where they go with family and friends, to meet new people.

The ideal person should be friendly, self-motivated, and excited by craft beer. They will oversee the taprooms like it was their own business, paying special attention to the little details on cleanliness and customer experience, while running an efficient operation and finding creative opportunities to drive sales.

The Taproom Lead will work closely with the company partners to ensure that you have the support and budget you need to make the taprooms the best they can be.

Duties include:

  • Coordinate all taproom staff
  • Scheduling all taproom shifts
  • Hiring new staff as needed
  • Training for new staff and processes
  • Ensure that the taprooms are clean
  • Practice and promote top-notch customer service
  • Look for opportunities to increase taproom sales
  • Manage and develop taproom events

As a Bike Dog Beertender, you are the face of Bike Dog and will collaborate with other beertenders to provide a welcome, educational and exciting experience in the taproom. Beertenders are responsible for day-to-day operation of the taproom, including serving beer, selling merch, bussing tables, maintaining the physical space and answering any questions from guests, while being a passionate brand ambassador for Bike Dog and craft beer.
